We’re always after volunteers to come and help us with marshaling at our events.
Our Marshals take on very important roles, guiding our recruits around the route, helping on assault courses and of course providing support all along the way!
Volunteer shifts generally run between 7am – 4/5/6pm, with details to be confirmed 1-2 weeks before the race date.

Base Camp Team
"Assist on the event day for set-up, recruit assistance and registration or clean up. Volunteers may also choose to be involved in event planning. Volunteers will work under the direction of various members of the event core team and directing staff"
Course Team & Checkpoint Staff
"Course Marshals are located at various points along the course. Duties for this position include setting up the checkpoint, recording the teams as they pass through, keeping an eye out for any racers in trouble and if necessary, reporting anything needed to the medical team or race control. All checkpoints have at least 2 people. Radio experience ideal however we will train you if not."
Core Team Runner
"Volunteers will work directly for the Core Team at Race Control. Be a part of the many tasks at Race Control! Duties may include timekeeping, monitoring the radio, relaying of information, paperwork and setup/teardown, etc.
"Over the course of our event we will need to feed around 400 recruits, directing staff, core team, medics and volunteers. Volunteers are needed to assist the catering crew with delivering meals three times a day and the clear up and rubbish removal. Based in the event village."
